Typeface
Beyond features high-contrast geometric patterns and organic waves inspired by visuals from 2001: A Space Odyssey. Each letterform, derived from Helvetica, stays relatively intact but disrupts Helvetica’s usual edges by incorporating wavy borders that extend beyond the original boundaries of the typeface and establish asymmetry. Beyond evokes a sense of curiosity involved in travel beyond Earth and a spirit of bold and intentional playfulness. Intended for use as display text or as individual letters, potential uses include design event or exhibition typography, stationery, or editorial article headings. Patterns can also be used separately within illustrations or as visual punctuation surrounding body text.
